A heavier pack tires you faster.
Makes bag weight matter: the fuller your pack, the more stamina climbing costs. An empty bag plays like vanilla; a full bag costs more — default 2×, tunable up to 5×.
A live carry-weight readout appears on the bag screen, and per-item weight overrides are a true override — changing bag capacity, the weight readout, and the stamina cost together. Every option is configurable on the in-game Mods page.
